They were amazed at the theatrical journey our company created, and at the gifts our members demonstrated imagination, emotional power, humor, fun, and pure joy, all to a rhythmic beat!
Through stories, characters, movement and improv our new play, Together Apart, explores the joys of connection, the challenges of being apart, and how our imaginations (and technology) can bring us back together.
Threads, a virtual theatre performance rooted in visual art and directed by Dhana Cartmell. It showcases us weaving together ideas, scenes and movement pieces inspired by the works of artists from the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts.

Sparks features improvisation and dance accompanied by a diverse soundtrack of live and recorded music as the actors search frantically for that one thing we all long for: Community!

Along the way you’ll hear folklore from afar and stories from close to home too. Around the World in a Day(Dream) takes audiences on a journey they won’t soon forget!
This light-hearted show features the element of surprise: with the help of the audience, the performance order is determined by the spin of a wheel. Highlights include an eco-friendly adaptation of Hansel and Gretel, the Sunrise Circus, and a creative barber whose barbershop tools are made entirely of cardboard!
The good folk of Opposite Gulch, a tiny hamlet in the Badass Badlands of Southern Alberta, thought the sandstorm was bad — the worst sandstorm in 20 years — but there’s worse. A ghost is haunting the town’s only remaining business, the Zappapalooza Saloon and Massage Studio, scaring staff and customers. And the worst fate of all has befallen the title character, a ghost with a curious connection to the town and great skill in optometry.
Stories About Us: a docudrama piece which tells the stories of the group members’ experiences of school, institutions, the street, the work world, and friends and lovers. The play involved live interview, storytelling, abstract movement, drama, comedy, fantasy, songs and issue-oriented scenes created through improvisation.
The Giraffe Who Thought He Could Fly takes us on a safari to the rainforests and plains of East Africa, where Twiga the short-necked Giraffe and his buddy Anansi the Spider have to take on the local bullies plus a pair of poachers and even greater dangers, all through the magic power of believing in themselves.
